January 22-24, 2012 - The 2012 "30th Anniversary" Caribbean Marketplace, sponsored by CHTA, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas in January. February 10, 2012 - AHTA General Meeting (RESCHEDULED to March 21)
The Annual General meeting of the Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Association will be held at 4 PM at Paradise Cove InnSuites Boutique Hotel. Mr. Ricky Skerritt, Chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Organization and Minister of Tourism for St. Kitts, will be the KEYNOTE SPEAKER and he will be accompanied by Mr. Hugh Riley, Secretary General of The Caribbean Tourism Organization. At this meeting AHTA members in good standing will be electing four Board Members for a three year term. We encourage all members to make every effort to attend the AGM, and to be involved in the future leadership of your association.
April 24-26, 2012 - 2012 Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Conference sponsored by CHTA will be held in April at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Conference is the leading forum for communication, networking and deal-making for the hospitality and tourism investment community in the Caribbean region. Caribbean Travel Marketplace is the business-to-business marketing event for the region's hotel and tourism industry, and will be held from January 20-22, 2013. premier marketing event for the Caribbean region. In 2012, Caribbean Travel Marketplace saw a 17 per cent increase (over 2011) in buyer companies with 142 in attendance.
