The Government has approved the following rate schedule for taxi fares for 2009/2010:

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

The following charges may be made in addition to the fares on the "Table of Fares for Up to 2 Persons" above:

• Coast to coast in the same zone for zones 7, 8 and 9 only, incurs an additional US$5 charge
• A charge of US$5 for each additional person
• US$1 each additional piece of luggage over 2
• After hour charges: From 6 p.m. to 12 midnight - total fare plus US$4; from 12 midnight to 6 a.m. - total fare plus US$10.

ALTERNATIVE RATES AND CHARGES

The following alternative rates and charges may be made:

• Hourly rate:  US$28.
• Tours:Tours up to two hours US$55 for one or two persons, plus a charge of US$10 for each additional person.
